Short Bio
Mr. Jacobs is an Albany native who graduated from Christian
Brothers Academy before receiving a bachelor’s degree in music
education from the College of St. Rose. After obtaining New York
State Teacher Certification, his career began with three years at the Albany City
School District. There Mr. Jacobs conducted musical ensembles and
taught instrumental lessons at both the primary and secondary
levels. Mr. Jacobs resides in Delmar with his wife and two-year-old
son, and is currently mid-way through his Masters Degree in Music
Education. This year is his
second with the Albany Academies.
