Grade 5
The fifth
grade art students meet twice a week for thirteen weeks. During this
time, the students will explore the following mediums:
Drawing, with an emphasis on proportion and
contour line
Painting and the properties of color theory
and color mixing
Ceramics, clay and hand building techniques
With every class
project the students will have a lesson including art history.

explosion, exploring color theory and color mixing using water color
paints and a straw.
