Tests, Quizzes, Homework and Rubrics

¯    Weekly spelling tests will be given on Fridays.  New lists are handed out after each test.

¯    Book tests are given at the end of each novel accompanied with a study guide.

¯    Frequent grammar quizzes are given.  Class notes will be used as a study guide.  The girls will have one week to prepare.

¯    Weekly Quick-Write homework assignments are given every Friday and due the following Friday.

¯    Weekly reading assignments are assigned on Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday assignments are due on Thursday and Thursday assignments are due on Tuesday.

¯    Rubrics and personal teacher comments are given in lieu of grades.
