Studying for Math Quizzes and Tests

Practice, Practice, Practice!!

           Math is all about practice.   As with anything, the more you practice, the better you will become!  

Homework:

  You practice every night for math by doing your homework.   You can use any of your homework assignments to help you review.   For example, do your homework over again but cover your answers and write your new answers in your notebook as practice.   This way you can check your new answers with the old ones to see if you are doing the problems correctly.  

Textbook:

  Your textbook is full of examples to practice with.   Use it as a way to study for your tests and quizzes by practicing questions in the sections that were covered.  

Notebook:

  Read over your notes that you took in class.   Practice with examples that were done in class.   Cover your answers to your class examples and do them again on another sheet of paper.   This way you can check your answer and your understanding of the class material.
