              HOMEWORK: Keep a diary account of a day in your life - keep track of everything you do and the things you use throughout your day. Start when you wake up and finish before you go to bed. This will earn your team florins if all complete on time.

              - Assignment of teams - what will your team be called

              - Task 1: Cartography - mapping Renaissance Italy

              -   Explanation of Personal Log Sheets and your personal Renaissance Portfolio

              - “Renaissance: A Brief History” – highlighting for important information

              HOMEWORK: get your Renaissance Project sheet signed and decorate a cover for your portfolio with drawings and facts about your LA research person = 4 florins

              - Finish map of Renaissance Italy

            - What would your Renaissance Research person wear? Create an historically accurate outfit for them

            - “Renaissance: A Brief History” – highlighting for important information

Friday 5/16 - The story of the Needle and the Brush - what do we learn about Renaissance Florence by reading it?

            HOMEWORK: review your vocabulary definitions of Renaissance, Humanism, Plague, Divine Right, Merchant, Patron. Reread ch 6 section 1 "The Renaissance and the Reformation" and define perspective, Protestant, Reformation and then complete the "Writing Activity" on page 160
